To perform healthcare services to patients under the direction and responsible supervision of a physician, and perform many of the routine tasks that physicians usually perform.  Essential functions include, but not limited to examining patient, taking medical history, recording results, and making preliminary diagnosis or deciding on follow-up procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

Completion of a 4-year accredited physician assistant baccalaureate program and 1 year of clinical training.  State of NC accreditation based on certifying exam.  Demonstrated competencies in dealing with all age groups

Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department - Part-time and PRN position-days and/or nights including weekends

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:   Licensed to practice as a registered nursed in the state of NC

< Experience:  1 year of emergency room experience or 2 years med/surg experience

Licenses/Certificates:  RN License, BLS and ACLS required, PALS preferred.
